Transparent calculation
Personality Calculator Methodology
The calculator converts four visible slider positions into two axis scores, then maps those scores to one cell in the 4×4 personality chart.
Formula at a glance
Horizontal score = Movement + weighted Speech.
Vertical score = Energy + weighted Thinking.
Movement and Energy use their displayed values from 0 through 7. Speech and Thinking use the weighted sequence below.
| Displayed position | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Weighted value | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 |
How a score becomes a chart cell
| Score | Chart band |
|---|---|
| 0–3 | Band 1 |
| 4–7 | Band 2 |
| 8–11 | Band 3 |
| 12–15 | Band 4 |
The horizontal band selects the column and the vertical band selects the row. Their intersection is the personality result. The Overall slider is not included in either score.
What a preset means
Each type page gives one slider setup that lands in the correct cell. A preset is an example, not a claim that only one combination works. Many different combinations can produce the same pair of score bands.
Verification process
- Keep names, groups, presets, weights, and chart positions in one local data file.
- Calculate both axis scores for every preset.
- Confirm that each preset resolves back to its intended chart cell.
- Compare regional labels and formula behavior against the references listed on the sources page.
- Mark material corrections with a new verification date.
